Curt Kurzenhauser, President and Owner of Integrity Marine Surveying, headquartered in Portland, Oregon, has worked nearly 30 years in the marine industry.
Integrity Marine Surveying, Inc. was created to meet the client demand for expert surveys and project management of marine assets. Curt has 18 years sailing experience and holds a current USCG Chief Engineer's License in Motor, Steam, and Gas Turbine plants of any horsepower.
As both a former Associate Professor at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA and ABS Class Surveyor for six years conducting new construction, damage/repair, and modification surveys, Curt approaches his work with keen insight and a passion for solving problems. His work as a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISM, ISPS, and ILO-MLC additionally informs his ability to support clients with even the most challenging scenarios.
Curt holds a commission in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has current Security Clearance. He graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, and completed the Engine Room Management Course at Warsash Maritime Academy in Southampton, UK. In 2012, Curt was only one of two U.S. ABS Surveyors, and eighteen employees globally, honored with a Golden Eagle Award in recognition of dedication to exemplary safety consciousness beyond standard practices.
